For more than three decades, the Wallingford Symphony Orchestra has been an integral part of Wallingford and its neighboring communities, filling our concert halls, chapels and outdoor spaces with extraordinary music. From Stravinsky to swing, Mozart to movie themes, pops to patriotism, the WSO delivers what everyone wants to hear...and yet delights us with the unexpected!
We commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of renowned philanthropist Paul Mellon, whose gift of the magnificent Mellon Arts Center inspired the founding of the Wallingford Symphony Orchestra! And that’s just the beginning... ...to continue, we need your help. Although our programs are sponsored in part by businesses and foundations, most of our expenses are not. That’s why we rely on donations from individuals to fill the gap between ticket sales and the true cost of assembling a professional orchestra. Your gift of any size is significant as it works “in concert” with others to ensure that we can continue to bring you great music. \We invite you to join us for all the excitement and to support a cherished Connecticut tradition. Add your name to our mailing list and you won’t miss a note of beautiful music. Become a subscriber or benefactor and you help ensure the music will live on for you, your children and your community. Support us as we keep the music alive! Download a brochure with concert list and pledge card. PDF File Word File
