Directions to Choate Rosemary Hall's Paul Mellon Arts Center:
I-91 from the north
Take Exit 14 and turn right onto East Center Street.
Go straight through four sets of lights. At the fifth light (Elm Street intersection), take a right.. For the Chapel, continue straight. It is on your right OR
At the first stop sign (Christian Street), take a right for the Paul Mellon Arts Center.
Admission — first parking lot on the left. Paul Mellon Arts Center— first parking lot on the right.
I-91 from the south
Take Exit 14 and turn left onto Woodhouse Avenue (Rt. 150).
At the second light, take a left onto Center St.
At the third light (Elm Street intersection), take a right.
Turn right at first stop sign onto Christian Street. OR For the Chapel, continue straight. It is on your right OR
At the first stop sign (Christian Street), take a right for the Paul Mellon Arts Center. Admission — first parking lot on the left. Paul Mellon Arts Center— first parking lot on the right.
I-84 from west (Danbury or Waterbury, CT)
Take I-691 Exit 27 off I-84.
Take Exit 10 off I-691 and follow to Wilbur Cross Parkway/I-91 south exit. Follow directions above.
Wilbur Cross Parkway from the north and south (Route 15)
Take Exit 64 and turn right onto Quinnipiac St.
Bear left at Wallace Park and cross over the R.R. tracks.
Go straight through light (Quinnipiac becomes Center St. at this intersection).
Turn left at second light (at top of hill) onto North Main St.
Turn right at first stop sign onto Christian Street. For the Chapel, continue straight. It is on your right OR

Best route from Boston (northeast of Wallingford, CT) Drive time: 2 ¼ hours
Take I-90 (Mass Pike) West to I-84 West (connects in Sturbridge, MA)
Take I-84 west to I-91 South (connects in Hartford, CT)
Take Exit 14 and turn right onto East Center Street.

Best route from New York City (southwest of Wallingford, CT) Drive time: 2 ¼ hours
Take the Merritt Parkway North (Rt. 15). This road changes its name to the Wilbur Cross Parkway/Rt. 15 in Stratford, CT.
Take Exit 64.
Turn right onto Quinnipiac Street.
Bear left at Wallace Park and cross over railroad tracks.
Go straight through traffic light. (Note: At this intersection Quinnipiac becomes Center Street.)
At top of hill (at second traffic light) turn left onto North Main Street.
At the first stop sign, take a right onto Christian Street. For the Chapel, continue straight. It is on your right. OR
At the first stop sign (Christian Street), take a right for the Paul Mellon Arts Center. Admission — first parking lot on the left. Paul Mellon Arts Center— first parking lot on the right.
Alternate Route from New York City
Take I-95 North to I-91 North (connects in New Haven, CT).
Take Exit 14 and turn left onto Woodhouse Avenue (Rt. 150).
